Lions Clubs around the world have been changing lives for 100 years through humanitarian service. Their Centennial Celebration this year offers Club members opportunities to work together to strengthen their communities through service. In celebration, the Lions Club of Edgewood donated $1,074 for youth to build a Cat Tree for the cougars at Wildlife West Nature Park in Edgewood.
Youth workers completed the Cat Tree in a habitat that is adjacent to the cougars which is open to allow them more space to roam. The Cat Tree will provide enrichment for the 2 young cougars who came to the Park last spring. They will be able to climb, explore and nap on the structure.
